How We Design a Beautiful Bathroom with Ultimate Organization in Mind

Imagine this. It's Reveal Day. You've spent months designing the bathroom of your dreams with us. You moved all of your toiletries to your guest bath to accommodate the tradespeople laying tile, installing plumbing and light fixtures, and painting. You walk into a gorgeous, clean, updated bathroom - all around you are sleek, thoughtful organization solutions built specifically for you. The design fits perfectly to your lifestyle so that even when you move your hairdryer or oversized hairspray back in, your bathroom still looks brand new. It's a dream come true.

Step #1 - Account for the Amount of Stuff that Must be Stored

When you start working with Julia Rose Interiors, we take inventory of your bathroom with you, making note of any tools or toiletries that you need to have accessible for everyday care. We learn what you love about your present space, and what you wish you had. We can help you budget for luxuries such as a towel warmer or heated flooring, that will bring you a truly cozy, at-home feeling.

Step #2 - Consider the Size of the Cabinetry that Makes Sense

While it would be great to have room for everything, we understand that sometimes (especially in historic homes) that space is limited. We get creative providing thoughtful cabinetry solutions for your needs that still allow you and whomever you share your bathroom with to move around freely while both using the space. We make suggestions on the type of cabinets or drawers that may work best for you.

Step #3 - Remember the Value of Vertical Space for Storage

Once we determine your floorplan and your cabinetry type and size, we work with you to ensure that the proposed amount of cabinetry will meet. your needs. If not, we can suggest other vertical or wall storage solutions for your design before building.

Step #4 - Select Finishes Based on Style and Stage of Life

Working with an interior designer means we consider every detail. We put great thought into the functionality of drawer pulls, the height of cabinets, and the mix of finishes to make sure they align with your lifestyle.

Unsure how to account for all of your "stuff" when selecting fixtures and finishes for your bathroom remodel? We've got you covered. Reach out today!

Cheers,

Julia
