Kitchen Renovation: Rhodes Manor
NORTHERN VIRGINIA: Arlington, VA
ABOUT THE DESIGN
Natural marble, handmade bronze hardware, exquisite millwork, and wide-plank engineered hardwood floors were added to bring life to a previously outdated kitchen. The kitchen island was modified to include a wine fridge and multiple spice racks. The previously tiny pantry was completely redesigned to add remarkable storage and functionality. Across from the kitchen, a completely remodeled stairwell complete with blush-colored grasscloth and high-gloss black paint provides an elegant view and beautiful natural light source for cooking.
BEFORE
An outdated builder-grade kitchen lacks functionality and style.

THE FINAL RESULT: DETAILS WORTH MENTIONING
-
Honed marble countertops were selected for this home, emphasizing the natural beauty of the space.
-
Fine, natural materials will always be our top choice when budget allows. Wide-plank engineered hardwood flooring was selected.
-
Two spice racks, a wine cooler, and an additional pantry space with rollouts were added to improve the kitchen's functionality. On the pantry, we added smart pocket doors so the pantry can be easily accessed without disrupting the flow of the kitchen.
-
Handmade bronze hardware was shipped over from the UK to compliment the beautiful rich cabinetry. Three different hardware types were selected to coordinate together but add variety to the space.
